Cab Booking FAQs: Fares, Cancellations & Payments

eTaxiGo is an online booking portal that acts as an aggregator, connecting customers with drivers. Our portal enables customers to check taxi/cab availability and compare industry-best prices. If a cancellation is made within 12 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time, you will be responsible for paying 15% of the total booking amount as cancellation charges. For full details, please refer to our Cancellation & Refund Policy page.

We provide four types of taxis/cabs:

1. Hatchback – 4 seater (e.g. Ritz, Indica or similar)
2. Sedan – 4 seater (e.g. Swift Dzire, Toyota Etios, Indigo or similar)
3. SUV – 6 seater (e.g. Toyota Innova, Xylo, Enjoy, Ertiga or similar)
4. Tempo Traveller – 12 seater, 15 seater and above

Booking a cab is simple and can be done in three easy steps: select your pickup and drop-off locations, choose your pickup date and time, and select your preferred vehicle. You can also call our 24x7 helpline at +91 837 699 6666 to book over the phone.

A one-way drop means you are booking a transfer from one city to another only for the forward journey. You do not need to pay for the round trip if you only require a drop. With eTaxiGo, a one-way drop is typically 25–50% cheaper than a round trip. The one-way price is automatically calculated by our system, taking into account the likelihood of the driver getting a fare for the return journey.

Yes, we exclusively provide air-conditioned (A/C) cars that are expected to be in working condition at all times. The only exception is for trips to hilly areas, where the A/C must be turned off while driving within the hilly region to avoid excess load on the car engine.

We operate 24x7 to provide you with the best service possible. You can contact us any time if you need to cancel or make amendments to your booking. You can also log in to your eTaxiGo account online using your registration credentials and manage your reservation there.

We provide highly trained and well-dressed chauffeurs. You will receive the driver's details (name, vehicle plate number and mobile number) on your registered email ID. Our focus is on safe, comfortable and reliable journeys for every customer.

Once your booking is confirmed, we send you a confirmation email and SMS containing all the necessary trip details for your reference.

No, registration is not mandatory to book a cab. You can proceed with booking without creating an account. However, signing up is beneficial as it allows you to manage bookings more easily and lets us keep you informed about the latest offers and deals.

The price listed on the website is the final amount payable to eTaxiGo and our quotes are completely transparent. However, toll tax, state tax and parking charges are generally not included in the quoted price. These additional charges, if applicable, are to be paid by the customer as per actuals.

eTaxiGo is currently available on Android devices. You can also access all booking features via our website from any device.

We accept all major debit and credit cards. You may also choose to pay directly to the driver. In addition, we support payments via Net Banking for your convenience.

While booking your cab, please specify your luggage requirements clearly. Each car type displays its seating and baggage capacity. This helps us recommend the most suitable vehicle so that you and your luggage travel comfortably.
