Shimla Manali Chandigarh Tour Package

Day 1: Delhi -Shimla

Pick up from Delhi airport/ railway station and transfer by road to Shimla. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. The evening is at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.


Day 2: Shimla

After breakfast visits Kufri situated at an altitude of 2500 meters just an hour drive from Shimla. Later in the afternoon go for sightseeing of Vice Regal Lodge and walk down the Mall Road. Attractions of the mall road include Shimla Church, Scandal Point, Gaiety Theatre, Town hall & shopping.
Evening, return back to the hotel for a night stay.


Day 3: Shimla-Manali (257kms/7hrs)

After breakfast depart to Manali, a picture-perfect hill station at an altitude of 1929mtrs. Drive past Kullu Valley and Pandoh Dam. On arrival check-in at the hotel. The evening is at leisure. Enjoy your dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 4: Manali

After breakfast, take half-day local sightseeing of Manali, visiting the 450 years old Hadimba temple, Manu Temple, Club House. Visit the Tibetan Monastery and the handicraft center and walk to the nearby picturesque village of Vashisht known for its hot sulfur springs. Enjoy your dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 5: Manali

Early morning take a half-day excursion to Rohtang Pass/ snow point. (Closed on Tuesday).

On your way back, visit Solang Valley. You can opt for adventure sports like Para Gliding, Zorbing, and Skiing (subject to snow) on a direct payment basis.Enjoy your dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 6: Manali to Chandigarh (320Kms/8Hrs)

Toady Depart early morning for Chandigarh.

  2. The Ridge: The Ridge is a large open space, which is situated alongside the Mall Road and hosts all the cultural activities in the city. Christ Church, The State Library and Gaiety Heritage Cultural Complex are some of the notable buildings located here.
  3. Christ Church: Situated on the Ridge, Christ Church is the second oldest church inNorthern India. Inside there are stained glass windows that represent faith, hope, charity, fortitude, patience and humility.
  4. Jakhoo: 2km from Shimla, at a height of 8,000ft, Jakhu Hill is the highest peak in the city and has views of the city and of the snow-covered Himalayas.
  5. Jakhu Ropeway: This ropeway connects Jakhu temple to the ridge ground and is the first ropeway in Shimla.
  6. Badi ki dhar: Badi Dhar is situated at an altitude of 6781 feet above sea level. Beautiful sights of Shimla can be seen from the top of the hill. The place is famous for its Lord Shiva temple and annual fair which is organised on 14/15 June.
  7. Indian Institute of Advanced Study: This institute is housed at the formerViceregal Lodge, built-in 1884–88.
  8. Summer Hill: The township of Summer Hill is at a height of 6,500ft on the Shimla-Kalka railway line. Mahatma Gandhi lived in these quiet surroundings during his visits to Shimla. Himachal Pradesh University is situated here.
  9. Tara Devi: 11km from the Shimla bus-stand. Tara Devi Hill has a temple dedicated to the goddess of stars on top of the hill. There is a military Dairy Town here as well as the headquarters of Bharat Scouts and Guides.
  10. Kufri: 16 km from Shimla at a height of 8,600ft, Kufri is the local winter sports center, and has a small zoo.
  11. Chail: Situated at 45 kilometers from Shimla, Chail was built as a summer retreat by theMaharaja of Patialaduring the British Raj, it is known for the world's highest cricket ground at a height of 7220 feet situated in the cantonment area.
